Greetings I would very much like to 'do' this festival but I am a trifle concerned about the weather so relatively early in the season, may I say yes with the caveat that in the event of a dreadful forecast I can cry off? At this years event you were getting a suntan whilst in Norfolk there were storms! Regards Dick. Then we were in the right place, and you were not, Dick!

Yes Please at present that weekend is free for me so would love to attend again. Also my cousin, who just lives up the road from Margam asked visited if he could possibly camp for the weekend, as him and his family enjoyed the day.

Margam Park is just outside Port Talbot and near Swansea. The huge Tata Steelworks, 5 miles long, is close by, with the M4 in between. There are windsocks on the M4 at that location. It is only about 50 miles south east of my own tourist attraction, which is called Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park, where I am considering setting up a new Kite Festival in June 2017. I'd love to go to Margam Park to view their festival. The only problem is that it's a Bank Holiday weekend in May 2017 and we are flat out with our camping site and Farm Park. I'd love to attend and see what a good Kite Festival is like. I could gather some tips and meet some of you.

Hi all, Not sure why, but if you received a camping application direct from Margam Park then please ignore it, as last year I did write (KW) after all the surnames last year to save them sending them out to Kite Weekenders members again, but it looks like this must have been forgotten. Dave

There was no camping pass. These were the invitations which I don't think we expected to be sent to those who book via KW.

There is not meant to be any passes sent out as yet, these will arrive later in the year.
To save confusion of people applying twice, once direct and once with Kite Weekenders on the forum, I sent the KW members attending, names and addresses list in my usual word document, with the addition last year of (KW) written after the surnames. The idea was that if (KW) was seen, there would be no need to waste postage on sending out invitations, as all Kite Weekenders wishing to attend would be collated on the forum and sent as a bulk list as normal. It appears that whoever sent them out, printed my list of addresses and were not aware that there was no need to send invitations to these people. As agreed before with Lindsay, if you are listed on here for a camping pass before we have any cut-off dates, you will receive one. Dave
