Cheers" 1, take a photo with a digital camera. 2, resize your photo, prferably to 800X600. 3, Up load your photo to a hosting site, Photobucket or Image shack semm to be the current trend leaders. 4, find the direct link to image & copy it. (it will look a bit like this) i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae165/greenmanbkf/Adrenalines.jpg5, When you want to post a picture on the forum just type 6 you should get Cheers,

Did I not follow the above rules exactly ? What do Greenman and Guy suggest ? You just had an extra space in the code If I try to write it as it should be it will not display as text so next post is a picture of what it looks like. I will do video tutorials soon Dave

Because yours is barely readable, and I am trying teach people that are not familiar with forum postings and BBcodes, as they say a picture paints a thousand words. Of course if this is all OK with you

Last evening, I tried without any spaces i.e the first time. It didn't work and still does not work. Then I tries with spaces. It didn't work. The Bloke remarked "well neither of those work". Imagine my surprise when I looked this morning and the second attempt (i.e. the one with spaces) is now working ! What's going on ?

Imagine my surprise when I looked this morning and the second attempt (i.e. the one with spaces) is now working ! What's going on ? Sorry John, I edited the post for you so that it displayed correctly, it was at the beginning of the code: [ img] and now edited to Perhaps the easiest way is to paste the url into your posting, then highlight the text of the address, then hit the 4th icon in from the bottom left above (Add Tags:), this should add the tags to the either side of the url. Click preview to see if is working and then post reply If you look at your first post and click modify, you will see your original code and the one that I have edited. It was a slightly different problem why this would not show up. To sum up, the first one had an incorrect url but the correct tags, and the second one had the correct url but with an extra space in the tags, if all this makes sense Dave
