THANK YOU Jelv.....
Made by the late David Davies and sold by INTERACTIVE KITES these are the last being sold on behalf of his wife, Sue, by Les Reed.
I was/am very tired of talking to myself and have been waiting for some sort of 'interaction' ( David would have laughed) from our many readers on these kites that are now very, very rare!
Go on....make an offer, Les has a figure in mind and will stick to it, you could (will) get a bargain!
All the kites are complete but you need handles and tails. Rev handles are most often used, every four line flier NEEDS one in their collection. The widow of David, Sue Davies, gave these kites to Les 'to do with as he wishes'
Les wishes to donate 50% to Sue and 50% to Great Ormond Street Children's Charity from the sale of these kites. These are not being sold for personal profit!

I am not seeing the picture in your post John, which one do you want? I have had a PM about the two black/rainbow ones at the bottom from someone else earlier.
The red/white/blue one is vented (all the white panels) as well as one of the black/rainbow ones.

I am not seeing the picture in your post John, which one do you want? I was posting in a hurry last night as I should have been out of the house 10 minutes earlier! It's the 4th one down with the 11:39 time stamp. Edit: I've now sorted out the post and the image is showing.

Lots more details to follow, but to whet your appetite this 'ENIGMA' SKYDANCER is up FOR SALE! Hi Collin, I am rather late off the mark but would like to offer £100 each for the remaining two Skydancers Red/White/Blue and Coloured Patchwork with Black Edge. In particular the Red/White and Blue. If the Enigma is still available I would offer £120. Edit I realise that three is rather greedy. Order of preference is 1st Enigma, 2nd Red/White/Blue 3rd Coloured Patchwork. If there are any other offers for the patchwork I would be more than happy with the Enigma and R/W/B. I already have two that I bought from David Davis a number of years back and would like to increase my collection . I would have liked the vented. I had many happy hours flying with David. Cheers Stephen

Jelv / Mr Pirate / Wttmnd all registered as SOLD to you guys....I will post details when I finish work later today.
All Skydancers have now been sold and it has been intriguing watching the interest unfold! I hope you will all be happy with your purchases, if not see the very accommodating Mr Les Reed (‘The Bloke’ on the forum) who is dealing with payments and delivering your kites, I know most of you will probably collect at the Jolly Up, please contact him as I have done my bit.
Well I have not quite ‘done my bit’ yet as there are another 21+ Kites from the David Davies stables to catalogue, price and put up details and photographs on the forum., which is time consuming and I have very limited time. I will put them all up in the ‘For Sale’ section next time so watch that space!
This is a picture of ‘the Bloke’ and a teaser of the variety of kites coming up ASAP!
From me, thank you all for your bids, GOSH and David’s wife will be benefiting from yours and Les’s generosity.
Jill (Jo Brand) OFFERED £100 John (Jelv) OFFERED £100 Paul (Mr Pirate) OFFERED £80 (Mr Pirate) OFFERED £40 (sail only) Stephen (Wttmnd) OFFERED £100 Wttmnd OFFERED £100 Wttmnd OFFERED £120
All first offers made were accepted by Les raising £640 in a good cause,I am sure you would agree, and the kites went to kite fliers who will appreciate them for what they are….not what they are worth.

Yes good idea showing quality kites here (and on other forums) rather than Ebay. I think part of the problem with Ebay is that there is so much on there that it is becoming almost impossible to find the quality amongst the trash. this means that those searching for quality rarely find it, and those selling quality rarely achieve a sensible price.
Just my take on life.
