WHAT A SCAM…..and I got well and truly tucked up!!!
I contacted this company www.ecigsbrand.com/intl/ec20/?aff=c2mecuk&sub=235and took up their offer of an electronic cigarette starter pack for £6.99.
The link was on the bottom of a page on Ebay and seemed a good deal and cheaper than other electronic cigarettes through EBay, in hindsight (wish you could buy some of that on EBay) I should have realized ‘if its too good to be true … etc’ and read the small print more closely!
The cigarette came, registered post, I have still have not used it, and a month later a pack of ten refills arrived saying I ordered them but the invoice showed no price? A mistake or a ‘result’ I thought.
Showing someone else the good ‘deal’ I had and recommending thel ink to them from my PC, THEY pointed out that I agreed to receiving 10 refills a month and paying for them from ‘the card they held on file’ …..Oh crap!!
They supply a supposedly 24 hour 0845 number to cancel/return your order providing you have a ‘returns code’ they give you once you contact them, BUT the phone will answer, put you on hold and then disconnect! Email’s are not answered either…
Had to wait till today to phone my bank after the Easter break, they will stop future payments to Ecigwarehouse but they have already taken £73.98 for the refills and the £6.99 for the only purchase I thought I was agreeing to!
Be WARNED….I am off for another fag brought on by all this stress!
MY bank was well aware of this company's operating procedures and I was not the first (felt slightly better) to be 'had' ... they even have a Facebook page, 15,597 'likes' but no comments?! www.facebook.com/ECigBrandKits?fref=ts

Lots of scammers around in the ecig industry right now I'm sad to say. I can recommend www.ecigwizard.com/ as not only do they have a well proven track record they also have shops in Leicester, P'boro and somewhere else I forget. I've been 'vaping' with ecigs for a few years now and mostly everyone I know has quit the weed and are smoking them. The most common decent ecig is the vision ego (ecig wizard sells them, its the wizard branded starter kit for £20 with free bottle of fluid),It doesnt look like a cig though, more cigar sized but it puts out so much vapour its akin to the real thing. Skycig and ecig-lights aint bad and look like real cigs but like all 'auto inhale ecigs' they suffer from the valve switch going eventually and are costly. You can however fill them up, infact you can fill all of them up but the manufacturers dont want you to so they dont tell you If anyone needs any advice feel free to ask as I have lots and lots of ecig gear and have tried them all lol.

Dave that e-liquid will work in any refillable ecig and some that aren't meant to be refilled like skycig (lots of tutorials on how to do that on youtube). I use the ego vision myself, you can buy various branded versions of it such as ecig wizards £20 starter pack. I did start with a skycig which is very much like a real cig with the light on the end, looks great but hardly any of those type produce the volumes of smoke/vapour a long term smoker will like. If you picture an ecig in two parts. The bit you put to your lips or the tip is the atomizer/cartomizer/clearomizer (various names but they all do the same sort of thing). This is made up of either a cotton wool type material that the liquid soaks into or a container of some sort which the liquid is poured into and a wick to take it to the coil. They all have coils which turns the liquid into vapor. Via the 510 screw fit it attaches to a battery which is the second part of the cig. A battery can either have a button or an electronic valve which powers the coil when you suck through the tip. Valve batteries are not as reliable as button and tend to have a higher fail rate. They are often much smaller too, I'd have to charge my skycig twice a day. My vision ego battery I charge every two days and my bigger one which is 1100mha often lasts for 3. This is a video of the one I use which is probably the most popular right now. You can also get tons of spares for it very cheap. Most people I recommend to get one I get them to buy this(which is available from many suppliers this is just the one I use): www.ecigwizard.com/electronic-cigarette-starter-kits/starter-bundle/standardbundle.html(not used these guys but this is the same thing branded under another name) www.vaperstall.com/starter-kits-accessories/vaper-stalls-ce5-vaping-kit-e-liquid/Once you're happy get another battery, this is a very long life one, takes roughly 50mins to recharge: www.ecigwizard.com/accessories/bc/batteries/ego-style-xl-battery-1100mah.htmland a spare clearomizer/head with a 2.4ohms coil which is medium power although I prefer the taste of the lower power 3.2ohms. You can also strip this one down and replace just the coil piece which cost a few pounds instead of spending £6 on the whole thing. I have got two months out of my current one but mileage will vary before they need replacing: www.ecigwizard.com/electronic-cigarette-starter-kits/vision-ego/ce5-v3.htmlI used to use www.ok-smokey.com for all my liquids because they do a mindbending amount but I'm not so keen on postage charges but they do come mostly next day. My local ecig shop actually lets you go in and taste all the flavours/try the ecigs out so it might be a good idea to see if you can find a decent retailer near you as they're popping up all over now. The last thing you must decide is strength of your nicotine. I use 10mg-15mg as I'm a lightweight but they go up to 25mg or down to 0mg. When I started I used tobacco flavour but now I hate it, I'm a vannila addict myself but I do like throwing a bit of malibu or redbull flavour in it if I'm feeling fruity ...and breath. Hope that helps

What the hell is all that gear for ? At the front you have an ego electronic cig broken down to its components, behind is one that is constructed, on the right a charger, batteries, some spare ecig clearomizers and on the back left all the different flavours I own. You dont need all that gear, its just fun to be able to have different flavours. Spares again are optional, but I'm paranoid such is my e-cig enjoyment so I like to have spares for everything. Honestly if anyone wants to quit smoking and doesn't mind replacing it with something 99% less harmful to themselves, the people around them, having no stink, no side effects and costing around £4 a week then ecigs make it very easy. It gives the same throat hit, the same satisfaction and the same nicotine feeling as a real one with very few of the drawbacks. I know about a dozen ex smokers including myself who are now using these, none of them bother with real cigs anymore so they do work. The better your e-cig, the more likely you are to quit smoking real ones. While some could say its not truly giving up then no its not, but I have replaced my very harmful smelly antisocial habit with a pretty safe one which is barely noticeable to anyone unless they have a particular nose for vanilla. I could reduce the nicotine in the fluid right down to nothing over time and probably give these up. The trouble is I enjoy it more than I did smoking. So while I can, I will. This is a good forum for information on e-cig smoking. Has lots of medical/legal/social stuff about e-cigs plus reviews etc. ukvapers.org/

Are you still clasified as a smoker for things like life insurance?

That's a good question, nicotine would still be detectable in your system just as if you were using patches, gum or inhalers so I'd imagine it would be under that. In the UK the e-liquid is soon to be taken under stricter manufacturing controls thus legitimizing it as smoking cessation so i'd guess it will come under that. I'm no doctor or insurer though so it's just guess work from me.

Hi daz, that battery is pretty much the same as the ego batts I use I think with two threads, both inner and outer on the battery connection? The inner connection is the 510 fitting which is handy as that's the most universal of them all. I use 3 different types which I will give my opinions on. They all have ups and downs but personally the Ego vision CE5v3 is my favorite and most popular with my friends. Again I'm using ecigwizard links but you can get these in various places. Vision Nano www.ecigwizard.com/electronic-cigarette-starter-kits/vision-ego/vision-nano.html#product-tabsThis is the vision nano, it never leaks, has a reasonable taste but reviews are mixed so mileage does vary. I mostly use it for going out with as I can keep it together in my pocket and it doesn't break although it's not amazingly strong if you read other peoples reviews. At £3 its probably worth a punt to try. Vision ego CE5v3 www.ecigwizard.com/electronic-cigarette-starter-kits/vision-ego/ce5-v3.html#product-tabsThis is my everyday tank, has a great taste, plenty of smoke (depending on what ohms you buy) and the coils last quite a long time. It does have a few quirks though, firstly It will leak if you dont have the plastic container seated in the ring that connects it to the battery. When you buy them they are seated fine but if you drop it hard or have it in a tight pocket thus flexing it they can either move or come off completely leaking in your pocket. They are easy to re-seat just using pressure to press it all back together. When I take mine out i either unscrew the batt or use a hard container such as a cigar tube or something similar. This eliminates leaking all together. If they leak after that you've either put fluid down the tiny center air tube when filling it which is easy to avoid or the ring/tube aren't seated right still...because I've learned to look after mine it never leaks. £6 for this and you can buy spares for it and strip it down, you can also buy different sized coils for whatever smoke level you fancy. As long as it's cared for these last and do the job well. (Oh and the CE5v3 comes with a big silver V engraved into the battery ring, if it's missing its either a 3rd party copy or an earlier generation which you can't strip down) Ego Mega Duel core www.ecigwizard.com/accessories/cartomisers/dual-coil-cartomisers/ego-mega-dual-coil-cartomiser-clear-5ml-tornado.html#product-tabsThis one is quite a different type and uses the same system as the little non re-fill skycigs and e-cig lites just in a larger format. The liquid soaks into the material and you pop the cap on and smoke it. Providing its not been over filled it shouldn't leak and is reasonably robust. It doesn't produce as nicer taste as the Visions do though in my opinion but it does do plenty of smoke. £3 for this so again it's not a bank breaker if you want to give it a punt. I do have other types but I don't rate them at all especially this: www.ecigwizard.com/accessories/cartomisers/dual-coil-cartomisers/olympian-tank-dual-coil-pp-6ml-3ml.html#product-tabsReviews are great but it's got a lot of faffing about to get it going for me, it doesn't taste that great and it costs a tenner! Hope this helps you find something.
