Hi Colin
Could you please give me a little more information regarding the Swift kites. They look similar in size to the Skydancer, is it fair to assume that they are 4 line kites as well. I know nothing about them hence the stupid questions.
Would be interested in putting in a bid of £50 for No 1 just needed reassurance about the kite.
Many thanks
IN THE SPIRIT of openness, these are four line kites and Les wrote elsewhere "The next phase of the sale of these kites is the swifts, these were the precursor of the sky dancer, they were my introduction to Davids kites, they fly as well as the sky dancer as long as you fit tails to them David never sold them with tails as it was not discovered about the use of tails until well into the development of the sky dancer, David was also adamant that the handles should be straight not bent like the rev handles."
I have always flown my Skydancer on 'rev handles' without a problem and do not own a 'Swift' but Les assures me they fly like a Skydancer and more or less the same size as you can see from the photographs. They really need a pair of tails on the base of the spars to fly stably and recover if it loses the wind.
