A big thank you to all the hard working NHBC members for putting on another great Jolly Up. The weather was mostly kind, if a little cold with some NE winds heading across the field. But the wind was good and kept a good few kites up on both days. Looking forward to N.N.N.Nineteen.
Cheers, Greenman

We were driving out of the field when I spotted the Ostrich/Emu in the next field, I stopped to show father the birds, while I was stopped, the front wheels sunk into the soft soil, I tried to drive away but had no luck, tried a forward pull no luck so was pulled out backwards by Dave in his 4x4.
If I hadn't have stopped I would have been OK.
The Field had 2 divots where the front wheels were, not long furrows normally seen with Ploughing.
Roy
(Don't stop to show father some birds next time)
