i have been cleaning my caravan for the last couple of weeks, and used 'cif' cream to clean the outside, and it has brought it up a treat, clean but not shiny.
I came to polish it and it just will not SHINE? Being ally and fibreglass....DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS as to what polish is best? I dont think it has ever been polished....

CIF cream cleaner is abraisive. It may have taken the gloss coating off when you cleaned it. I would try using an alkali water based cleaner. Then a small amount of Tcut just to get the paintwork smooth. Then a car type pollish. Beware, the paint on caravans is nowhere near as thick as the paint on cars. I'm not even sure they use a laquer. Of course you could just get Collin it respray for you.

FOR SALE!
1988, Swift Corniche, 2 berth, hot & cold water, shower, porta loo, 3 burner hob / oven / grill, full awning ,almost new …gas bottles / leisure battery / water butt in-fact everything included and working so its ready to be used immediately!
I am moving in a week and NEED the CASH …… URGENTLY, hence the price! £1,100 ono.
It's the one in the photos at start of this thread, but I have spent a lot of TLC on it since and its never been abused and 100% watertight as most of you know it was used every weekend last year.
