Kite Weekenders Summer Special
I have booked a full weeks camping at Brenzett Airport for the first week in August 2010
The cost of camping is difficult to establish as Ray Brignall will not commit and has left that up to me to organise
I suppose the first thing we need to do is to establish numbers and then decide amongst those who want to camp a sensible fee
To this end please let me know if you are interested in a weeks camping during the school holidays
I will be offering this weeks camping to those on my regular "steam and kite" database which means that some of you will get a separate email with the above details
ALL BOOKINGS will be managed by me and NOT by the forum as the forum does not have the capability of auto responding and placement
This week is in addition to the April Bank holiday weekend (which has been confirmed) of which details will be posted and sent under a separate cover

I have not got next years calender to even 'pencil' it in !!
Looking at my 2009 calendar that first week had: August 1st....Roys Jolly up August 8th....Teston 2
Of course you can count on my 'provisional' YES dependent on other criteria! ;D

Currently my 2010 calender has:
24th July - 5th September : School Holidays
24th-25th July : Dover Kite Festival 31st July-1st August : Kiters Jolly up 7th-8th August : Teston 28th-30th August: Portsmouth Kite Festival
So it is a provisional no for us.
Looking back at previous years there is nothing much going on (kite wise in southern England) between Teston and Portsmouth.

This is all getting to be a bit of a task finding gaps - do not forget we now have August 20, 21 and 22nd booked for the Shoreham air show, the following weekend is Portsmouth
If the KW are going to Teston and Roy's field and you want a weeks fly and camp during the school holidays then we are more or less committed to the weekend between Teston and Shoreham - let me know if this is better for the majority and I will see what I can do in respect to booking Brenzett - So far as I am concerned now that Ron has given up Teston I will probably not go, gives me a better chance of going back to Basingstoke, particularly as they have now sorted out the camping
