Speaking with our Global Mod earlier it was suggested to mention this feature and does anyone makes use of it. The link on the forum for viewing the 30 most recent posts. I must say for a long time on proboards forums I had never even noticed it The only downside that it has, is that it does not display any accompanying photos to the post if they were there. (e.g. Collin has a horse but with no picture to make sense of it ) Screenshot of link below Attachments:

I think proboards added it last spring/summer, and it is always my first port of call, as all to often possible to miss posts in other threads in the same message board

I'm pretty sure it was there when I joined the BKF forums in April 2007 (as I'm used to other forums with similar features it will have been something I looked for).
Dave's right to point it out - it's not very prominent and it's very useful.
(Incidentally this is one area where SMF is a lot better than ProBoards - it has a prominent link at the top to all the topics containing posts that you haven't read)

I must admit i use it quite often as it is a quick reference to recent postings.

I remember when the Brighton site started it had '10 most recent posts' which admin could not alter, about a year ago Proboards changed it to '30 most recent posts'
Recently on here we had multiple posts put on every topic which as a consequence rendered the 30 most recent posts pointless as they were all the same! Similarly when the Brighton forum had the 'three word' topic running, a couple of guys played the game continuously and soon rendered the 10 'most recent posts' nonsensical!
I have just put up " a prominent link at the top " of the Home Page to help as well.
