Hi Kitetravellers,
All the kite flyers will be at the beach to the north of El Cotillo today. As you drive towards El Cotillo look right and you will see the kites in the distance. Follow the signs towards the lighthouse and you will find them all.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday's festival will be held on the sand dunes to the south of Coralejo. Head south out of Coralejo and past the two big hotels. Keep going for about another mile. You will find the festival on your left. Don't cross the solid white line on your side of the road (not even to park) you may get caught and fined.
From Monday onward most of the Brits head back to El Cotillo for an unofficial festival of fun flying.
I'm sure you will have found out all of this by now, but just making sure.
Cheers form the shivering north, Greenman

Thank you. We made it to El Cotillo for a look around, plenty of kites, and a good strong breeze!
Decided not to fly my KAP rig as I'm not sure of the protocols for putting a camera in the air at a nudist beach......if I knew how to, I would put an embarrassed smiley here....
Thanks for the heads up about crossing the white line, I would certainly have done that!!
I think the wind is due to pick up a bit tomorrow, so good fun will be had for sure.
Cheers A & C

Come and find us on the beach tomorrow and introduce yourself. Hopefully I will be flying the "We Love Fuerte" Air Banner and a Maxi Teddy with a KW T-Shirt (wind permitting) If not look for a couple of Peter Lynn Whales & Cuttlefish Dave

Hi again Kitetravellers, Don't worry too much about your KAP rig. I had mine up at El Cotillo and the main festival site many times. Never miss a chance to KAP.

Probably best not to zoom in too far on this one!I like getting my line in the shot these days, it proves its a KAP shot and not taken by a buzzy toy.

Great to meet a few of you today on the beach! We only brought one kite for kapping, and it was too windy for that today; hopefully the wind will have died down some tomorrow, so we can get the camera up. greenman I think we saw your rig, were you flying a yellow pilot at El Cotillo? Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow, have a great evening. Andy & Christine Kitetravellers
