Burham-On-Sea Kite Fest is the weekend of 9-10th September 2017, flying on the beach at Burham-On-Sea, they also have night kites flying on the Saturday evening, wind permitting, there wasn't any last year.
Up-dates from Gaynor at Burham-On-Sea, for the Kite Fest weekend, the council have given them parking passes for seafront parking and allowing cars on to the beach as well, there is camping spaces on local campsite and a free 'Fish & Chips meal' Saturday night.
Should be a good weekend,

Just a short note to say a big Thank You to Gaynor and Mike for all their hard work setting up the kite festival.
Weekend was very windy both days and a few heavy showers, the 'Fish Supper' last night was very nice and the illuminated kite were well received by the onlookers.
Mike and Gaynon have now joined kiteweekenders as mikeandgaynon
