Kent Kite Flyers have been requested by the owners of the above park to be involved in providing a kite festival at the above venue. Due to the short notice of the request and after meeting with the events co-ordinator, it was agreed that this year it would be a one day event, leading hopefully to a larger two day event in 2018 where free camping would be allowed for kite flyers.
This year it was agreed it would be a simple fly of various kites, by those attending. The event will be on the vast parkland outside the wild animal sanctuary. commencing from 10.30am to 11am.
To allow access for kiteflyers, Kent Kite Flyers will be issuing a vehicle pass to be displayed into the flying area which will be roped off from the general public, who will have their own flying space( hopefully).
It is hoped that by providing a reasonable turn out of kite flyers, it will prove there is an interest in a two day event in 2018. Please post a pm or contact Malcolmf@kentkiteflyers.com

Following on from my previous post, this event is nearly upon us, and as stated this has the possibilty of becoming a larger event with camping from Friday until Monday in 2018. It follows that as many kiteflyers as possible support the ond day this year. I attach a vehicle pass for any-one who may wish to come along to print. If used please place on your dashboard so as the stewards are able to see and allow you onto the Kite flying area. If you could inform me if you do intend to come along so I have some idea of numbers. There will be no anchor bags this year for the larger kites and so will have to make your own arrangements CAR PASS.docx (98.98 KB)
