No doubt assisted by the dog chewing up up important documents. Its was a great week end Thank you guys Many thanks, I won't lie, it was somewhat stressful at times but this was mainly before the weekend. I believe jointly as kite fliers, we really pulled this off Jan and Myself had the washup meeting this morning with the Arun District Council almost 100% community feedback, and very minor tweaks to our event management plan for 2019. Lets start Planning

Dave,
Just one feedback, it would have been good to have a designated area for non inflatable kites, along with an area for the public to fly kites especially those bought from Go Kites. Otherwise a brilliant festival, although I was only there for the Saturday, much better site than the previous one. Looking foward to 2019

Otherwise a brilliant festival, although I was only there for the Saturday, much better site than the previous one. Looking foward to 2019 I changed the arena around on Monday :-) West Side (cordoned off portion for) 2 line and 4 line Twisted Bridle Pairs Team Ballet Teddy Bears 25 Kites for the public to learn to fly I think that worked the best :-) There was to be a reasonable size public area, but whoever (not me) arranged the children's fairground, it was 3 times the size I was told.

I would like to add my feedback. Many thanks Dave and all concerned with the organisation of such a wonderful event.
I have never had so many positive comments made to me by complete strangers as over the weekend. Everyone I spoke to was full of praise most commenting that they were hoping it will be repeated next year. We were innundated by locals as we packed up on Tuesday morning all apologising for the weather on Sunday (not that they could have prevented this) and all calling for a repeat performance next year. We encouraged all to feedback to the council so they could understand the local feeling.
I have one comment that sticks in my mind, made by two ladies walking dogs round the edge of the park, "what a wonderful event, the best thing we have had on the park for ages!" "Yes and the event management has been brilliant, everyone has been so interactive"
Time Dave for some relaxation while basking in the warm feeling of a good job well done!
Barbara & I are looking forward to hopefully being able to do it all again next year.
