Somewhat confused where to post this as it is not an upcoming event, and falls into no category whatsoever so posted for information purposes only as everything could change by then. Virus, job losses, isolation and now riots ....the list goes on and on! Just before Easter all we had to worry about was the constant wet weather cancelling events and Easter turned out dry and sunny but everything else went tits up.
After (during) an unprecedented episode in all our lives, where do we go from here?
From Sumners Ponds site, worth bearing in mind should we fancy a few days OUT after all this mess !?
"Good news!
We want to say a huge thank you to all of our fantastic customers for their patience and support over the last few months.
With the Fishery and Café both starting to gradually re-open, the next step is to give all camping and glamping customers who have been unable to visit us since the lockdown began on the 23rd March, first refusal on re-booking online from the 1st August onwards in to 2021.
We have chosen the 1st August because although the government has advised that the hospitality industry may re-open at the beginning of July, we want to make sure that you don’t miss out with the risk of lockdown measures being extended once again.
Once our customers affected by the lockdown have had the chance to re-book, we will then finally be able to accept new bookings.
If you are one of our customers who have been affected by the lockdown then be sure to check all your email boxes for how you can re-book your stay online through a special customer portal. If you are yet to get an email you should receive one in the next few days.
Once again we really can’t thank you all enough for your wonderful support and we can’t wait to welcome you all back here soon!
