How many of the KW vaping crew will be at Portsmouth ? I noticed there is a shop at Gosport that carries nice mods, may be worth a visit Friday afternoon Alba VapoursI was planning on bringing along my vast collection of juice for the festival, if any one wants to test flavours and makes.

As a recent convert to the vaping ranks (3rd day without the weed). It would be good to try some flavours and ideas. The starter kit arrived last Thursday. Been down town and bought a Dual top coil. Prefer the origonal single coil so far. DC is a bit strong for me. Using 11g melon liquid. All good so far.
I will be at Pompy from Friday morning.
Happy vaping, Greenman

Well done for your first few days without any cigarettes For me one of the hardest parts has been finding an all day vape E-Juice that I actually liked, and some sort of e-cig delivery system that gave me the throat hit and Nic level I needed, after almost 12 weeks without fags, I think I am finally there.

So how is everyone else doing ?

About 12-14 weeks for me without a fag, at the moment while I'm on holiday I'm using my vision spinner with a mini nova. But back home I have my MVP with a innokin I clear dc, favourite flavour at the moment is lemon and lime.

Looks like good news Euro MPs have voted to tighten tobacco regulations aimed at putting young people off smoking, but some measures do not go as far as originally planned.
They rejected a European Commission proposal to treat electronic cigarettes as medicinal products - a move that would have restricted sales.BBC News Report

I'm an ex-smoker (more than 30 years since I quit) and I'd love to see all the smoking friends on here totally quit nicotine be it real or e-cigs. If this lunacy had gone through I'd have backed all e-cig users going to their doctor to say either give me a prescription or you are responsible for me going back to real cigarettes.
BTW: Noticeable that the person that started this topic is the one I now see back on real cigarettes!

I see I put up the first post on the 2nd April and yes I do feel like an April FOOL as everyone else has run with the baton since. It would have been almost seven months now if I had quit then, as it was my intention!

It's great to read these posts about how long people have been off real cigs. Oh and yes the original thread starter should be our figure head for this, time to go find another ecig and start again Colin

Hi all, I've been vaping for a couple of months now using a std EGO batery and K3 DCS. Looking at buying a better batery set up. Options so far are Itaste MPV or KTS Storm. I will be buying next week. So before i do,any other thoughts? Must be side switch (not a fan of switches on the base). I dont want to spend a fortune, £60 would be a good limit.
Cheers,

Cheers, Depends a bit on what you are after really, they are very different devices. The MVP V2 is a variable voltage and Variable wattage box mod device that comes with a built in battery, and a iClear 30 clearomiser. The KTS storm is a Chinese copy of another mod, but purely a mechanical mod that can be taken apart, which will need doing from new, as the switch and 510 connections need a clean up for good conductivity. Once done it is not a bad device, side walls are very thin if dropped though, and the gold colour wears off the base at an alarming rate. For the KTS you will also need batteries, either suitable IMR 18350, 18500 or 18650 Not forgetting you will need a battery charger Like Daz, after a while with VV/VW devices I decided they were not for me, and just mechanicals are my preference, and if fitted with a Kick thats drops inside the tubes, it works just like a VW device.
