Well i got there at about 9 30 saturday morning, very chilly there were a few kites in the air allready. The wind blew all day, with some very heavy showers including the hail stones,it stayed cold for most off the day,did fly myself in the afternoonThe evening was the bbq .Food was lovely then came the auction, lots off items went for lots off dosh The evening became very cold,so Dick and i retired to the Raven Hotel with our bottle of GIN.Woke up sunday morning to a very heavy frost,Dick and i went down for our full english breakfast ::)Then off back to the field the wind had turned compleatly round, the sun was out Danny was sitting in the middle off the field on his chair flying his low wind kites,by 10.30 the wind picked up and there were a lot off kites in the sky.Martin had some new kites that he had made, they were very well made, well done Martin.Collin was flying the octopus tentacles which he had got hold off from the illegal octopus? ? Collin can explain that one.It became rather cold again in the afternoon so most people drifted off home.It was lovely to see everyone had a good couple off days ,but did miss Mrs pirate and my CARAVAN. Had a great weekend at the Jolly Up. Thanks Roy and Haley and everyone who contributed to make it a fun weekend. First time I flew a kite this year!! Thoroughly enjoyed catching up with everyone and having a laugh. Been a long cold winter here in East Anglia and the sunshine of Cliddesden was well worth the journey down.

I don't know about sunshine. I remember a bit of moonshine over the beer tent. Attachments:
