I wonder which drawer/cupboard/pile it is in... Found it, and made a new handle for a nail file... Strange stuff, the particles go clear as it gets hotter, but not completely, then it all goes white again as it cools. It is NOT adhesive, so a handle needs a way of gripping: I ground some notches into the tang of the file and it seems OK: better than no handle! If it cools too much before you have finished, or you need to add some more, it will reheat again

I have now used it to make the handle on the locking screw for the Mk2 circle sewing guide for my Pfaff 1221. If you use water at 80 - 90 deg C, the granules go completely clear, BUT BE AWARE OF THE TEMPERATURE OF THE PLASTIC IF MOULDING BY HAND DON'T GET BURNT It feels a bit like polyethylene when it has cooled, a bit slippery. You CAN cut it with a sharp knife CAREFULLY, but saws and files tend to create ragged edges...
