Not having a huge amount of room for a permanent sewing table or a light table, I managed to get this table from Amazon that seems to suit my needs. Has a drop down platform for lowering the sewing machine to level, and it folds up neatly to store away. I made the insert to go around the machine when lowered

Wish I had room for a table like that Dave, when I need the sewing machine out, it has to sit on top of my light table, an Ikea glass-topped computer desk with a 4ft fluorescent underneath
