Having recently had several enquiries as to when the next Sumners event was on, I wanted to ask does anyone want any more Sumrners Ponds events this year?
There are possible dates available in August / September after Teston/Portsmouth, so Monday 14th August to Friday 25th August up to the Bognor Regis festival and after Bognor finishes on the 26th August there are three clear weeks at the beginning of September, Hunstanton one day fest on the 20th August is the only thing I can see that clashes.
You tell me if you want another and a date you are able to attend...no point me booking it otherwise.
The below post went on FB on the 12th June and got just the one person saying they were up for it so it seemed pointless booking that either, so once again, you tell me what you want to do, and I will do the rest.

It's nearly that time again so just putting a feeler out to see who would be up for this weekend running the same format as last year camping in the top field and booking into Sumners restaurant for a meal off their menu on the Saturday night”

Iv read it and if there are some dates put forward and it does not clash with any thing else I will check to see if they have any accommodation there as we do not have a box to sleep in.

I would be able to make Sumners Ponds the week prior to Bognor, for me Bognor is 'just down the road' from Barnes Green so I could leave Sumners and go to Bognor. With that in mind is there any enthusiasm for Sumners for the weekend prior to Bognor for those who have to work during the week, ie Friday Saturday Sunday, 18th 19th 20th August 2017?

I am rather confused over Dicks posting the dates he quotes are the weekend Bognor takes place it is the August bank holiday.

I have tried booking another event at Sumners Ponds for this year but have been advised by Matt, the events manager, that the field is extremely saturated so they would not approve vehicles driving on it, furthermore they could not foresee it being usable till April NEXT YEAR!
I was trying to arrange a meal and camping for the weekend 14/15 th October (so as not to clash with Roy's LUTS weekend on the 7/8 th October up at Cliddesden ) but that is not going to happen now, I did try!
Easter 2018 could be booked NOW if there is any interest?
