Over the next couple of weeks, Proboards will be making changes to be compliant
with the new EU GDPR regulations due on May 25th 2018.
I rarely ever send out mass emails from KW, and even now you have the option to
opt-in or out of them, however I expect Proboards will set all members to out and you
would need to opt-in again.
I will update this thread when I have more information

ProBoards has updated its Privacy Policy, effective May 9th, 2018. You can review it at www.proboards.com/privacy.
We are currently in the process of sending emails to all users regarding this update.
Has ProBoards changed how it uses my data?
No.
I didn’t receive an email about a Privacy Policy update. Why?
If you registered on ProBoards after our policy updated, you would have already agreed to the updated policy, so no email would be sent to you.
If you registered before the update, it is likely that the email is still in the queue to send to you. This process may take up to two weeks due to the millions of users that we are contacting. The email will simply direct you to our Privacy Policy at www.proboards.com/privacy.
I’ve never had a ProBoards account or heard of ProBoards, why did you email me?
ProBoards has hosted millions of communities over the years. While you may not remember specifically joining ProBoards, you likely joined one of our many communities that we host, or you may have created a forum yourself at www.proboards.com. You do not need to take any further action.
What is GDPR?
You can read more about GDPR here: www.eugdpr.org
I no longer use ProBoards, why did you still email me?
Even though you may no longer use our service, we have a record of your email address. Since we updated our Privacy Policy, we believed it was important to contact you to notify you of the update. No further action is required.
I would like a copy of my posts, how do I do that?
You can download copies of your posts by logging in at www.proboards.com. Then under the Account drop down menu select Account Settings. Scroll down to Export Member Data and then click the blue Export link and follow the instructions displayed on screen.
How does ProBoards collect, use, and share my information?
This is thoroughly detailed in our Privacy Policy at www.proboards.com/privacy.
