So who is spending lockdown making a PLK Whale Kit? With the original BKF workshop then added to by Andrew Beattie selling hundreds of kits around the world, there will likely be a lot in the sky over the next year. I am having my first go at making one when it arrives

My kit was delivered 4 days ago but will go in the loft with the other kite gear. Moved in to a new home requiring renovation on 22nd October then lockdown 10 days later so things taking longer to get organised or not at all as we take the lockdowns serious and upgrading the the home would be nice but is not an emergency. Staying in and keeping safe is more of a priority. So the new workshop will have to wait it's turn.

Like wise Iv had mine for a few weeks now although I have had a look in the box I have resisted pulling it all out as like Strops I have a few DIY jobs that I must finish other wise it will all get left. I watched the Zoom work shop for the whole day it was a bit of a marathon but well worth the watch. Andrew Beattie did a sterling job with lots of support from all over the world with loads of good advice and ideas. The kiting community is a very big worldwide family. I made some new friends. Hope you are all OK and your all trying to stay safe. Regards John N June
