I have received a number of appreciative emails from TOC members, which I will post in this thread Quite a few said before they left how much they enjoyed the kites, and how friendly everyone was. Take a bow, Kite Weekenders

Thankyou once again for a great weekend.
We stopped to make lunch on the way home near a cricket pitch just outside of Guildford, so I managed to have a try to fly my kite! I did manage to get it airborne but only for short while so felt quite pleased with myself. Will have to practice somemore. Enjoy Dieppe. Best wishes Elizabeth and John

Hello Roy and Marilyn Just a line to thank-you for organising such a good Rally over the weekend. It was good to meet up with other Timberland owners again and the kites added an interesting spectacle for all to see. Also, thanks for telling us a little about them. Absolutely fascinating to learn how they are made and the different ways of flying kites. It is obviously a skill acquired over a long time. Regards, Ursula and Peter

Glad that the Timberband owners club enjoyed themselves I had a great week at Sumners myself, kite flying, playing with infantile toys, repairing infantile toys and an excellent day trip to sunny Worthing by sea with an old pensioner from Norfolk ;D of course not forgetting the purchase of his new underpants collection from M&S Many thanks to Collin for booking the week/weekends and for collecting the cash to pay the site fees.
