B/F total £357.91 OK, before someone mentions it, I put a kite in the 'bushes' at Fuerte....so am putting in my £1 making the total now £358.91.
Unless anyone can suggest how to raise another £41.09 to round ths off to £400 that WE sent in last year: kiteweekenders.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=htl&action=display&thread=137&page=4
I will send this in to the GOSH charity at the end of the month...

A HUGE THANK YOU to everybody who contributed to the GOSH collection over the past year and I apologise for the pressure of being on all your backs for almost a year! I hope you will agree it was eventually all worthwhile.
If I started naming names to thank individually it would mean nothing, you and they know who did what, again gracious thanks, it was all appreciated. I think you should all should give yourselves a pat on the back for achieving this total and doing something constructive that will benefit sick kids at GOSH….it may be a tiny drop in a big cup, but its better than an otherwise empty cup?
You will note I never rounded the total up to £360.00 and will be sending it in to GOSH as soon as…
Please suggest a charity we could support in 2012, that’s if we want to support one again next kiting season?

Dear Collin & Kite Weekenders
Thank you so much for your fantastic donation of £360 from your Kite Flying.
As you are aware Great Ormond Street Hospital is full of remarkable children whose bravery touches everyone. Money raised by our supporters is essential in enabling us to provide world class care to these patients.
Your support means that we can:
Buy specialist equipment which is suitable to be used for young people, children and babies. Provide accommodation for parents to stay with their children whilst they are being treated. Rebuild and refurbish the hospital so that we can treat even more patients. Continue our pioneering research to find cures and treatments for childhood diseases, giving children all over the world a brighter future.
The amazing things that happen at Great Ormond Street Hospital every day are only possible thanks to the generosity of our supporters. Thank you.
Kind regards
Stefanie
